and founder of
for over 25 years, Tony Racciatti is a professional
drummer and percussionist, who has been in the
business of music and music education since he was
a young child. Tony won the Gene Krupa Youth Drum
Competition at age 10; getting to meet with and speak to Krupa, his childhood
hero, in addition to cementng his commitment to music.
Tony attended Berklee College of Music out of high school, and went on to
teach at Berklee as well as Boston Conservatory, soon afterward. Having built up
aprofessional reputation as
both a player and a teacher, Tony moved to
tofurther pursue his career as a pro drummer and percussionist, playing in all
manner of bands, groups and ensembles, including Jazz and Latin.
Working as a studio and gigging musician in
opened Professional Music Studios in
instruction to percussion students and students of any other discipline of
instrumentation alike. Tony has been sponsored by Sonar, MRP, Sabian cymbals
and Stingray drums, and continues to work as a drummer today, while continuing
to offer top quality music instruction, both personally and as the owner of
Professional Music Studios.
